Improving Our Twisting Skills

YTE staff occasionally organizes meetups where we work together on brushing up our skills and sharing different tricks and techniques with each other. Since balloon artists are our highest requested entertainment role, at this meetup we decided to use the opportunity to improve our twisting skills. Regardless of if an artist has been twisting for 20 minutes or 20 years, we all have lots to learn and are constantly improving our craft. One thing that makes YTE stand out from the rest is that we learn from the best in the business so we can teach our artists the best techniques!

Customers often keep us on our toes by requesting items we may not have even made before, and that helps us grow too! A few of the most common pieces we make are flowers, swords, hearts, and dogs. In these photos Mr. Fudge, Your Balloon Man, was teaching our balloon artists about twisting a penguin holding a fishing pole! Balloon twisting is a talent not just used in smaller scale entertainment pieces, but can also be used when crafting custom made decor. As you can tell, it’s a very valuable and versatile skill to have, so of course it’s important to keep learning how to improve!
