Cancellation Policy

We totally get that plans can change, and sometimes you might need to cancel your booking with YTE Events and Balloon Decor. Here’s how our cancellation process works, broken down into simple terms:

Holding onto Your Event Date:

When you book with us, we set aside your special date, making sure it’s all yours. Unfortunately, if you decide to cancel, the retainer fees that helped lock in your date aren’t refundable. This is true for entertainment and balloon decor.

Global Supply Hiccups:

There’s a bit of a balloon material shortage due to global supply chain hitches. So at the moment, if you cancel, we can’t offer refunds for balloon decor bookings. We’re stocking up on balloon materials well in advance to keep the party going, and requires us to maintain this stance for the time being. Once things change, we will address it here.

If You Cancel Close to the Big Day:

If your event is less than 30 days away and you decide to cancel, we can’t offer a refund. Our design squad have already started getting things ready for your event and have placed orders and pulled balloons. If something comes up though, you can reschedule your delivery date at no extra cost as long as you let us know at least a week in advance via email.

If You Cancel Way in Advance:

Canceling more than 30 days before your event? We’ll keep a 50% credit on file for you. We’ve likely ordered supplies and set things in motion to make your event awesome. This 50% credit can be used toward another event in the future. The other 50% may be refunded.

Changing Dates:

Need to shuffle things around? No worries! Give us a week’s heads up and we’ll work with you to find a new date. You can change the date twice before it’s set in stone. And just a heads up, if you reschedule then decide to cancel, we can’t provide a refund. You can reschedule up to 90 days after the original date on your invoice. Anything beyond that, we’ll take a look on a case-by-case basis.

If we can’t nail down a new date within 30 days of your rescheduling ask, we’ll have to consider your order void, with no credit or refund offered. We will do what we can to accomodate, but ask that you do your best to let us know as soon as possible so that we can find a date that works with both of us.
