You may have heard of comic conventions like Comic-Con and Star Wars Celebration, but did you know balloon artists have their own convention? Float is held in January of every year and it is a place where balloon artists and entertainers can come together to share new knowledge with the entire balloon family. Float 2019 boasted 440 attendees, 23 countries represented, 30 different sponsors, and 26 instructors. That is one BIG balloon family! Balloon conventions give YTE Events & Balloon Decor balloon artists and entertainers an opportunity to learn the tricks and tips that were developed over the years and also learn how to create bigger and better balloon displays and decorations for all occasions.

Jonathan Fudge, balloon artist and owner of YTE Events & Balloon Decor, attended classes, met other artists from around the US, and helped on some larger projects during the convention. Fudge even got to participate in putting together the largest foil only balloon stage décor he has ever seen! The giant palm trees, tropical floral, and rainforest background created a magical display all convention goers loved to see come together. The convention allowed Fudge to see what is new in the industry and be able to bring new ideas to YTE Events & Balloon Decor, which means fresh and innovative ideas to our clients and their events!
