Are you ready for a pirate party? Tampa, FL hosts a weeks long Gasparilla celebration every year! Typically held in January, Gasparilla attracts thousands of party goers. The children’s parade happens the week prior to the main event of the pirate festival, as the main parade gets quite rowdy. Krewes from all over the state prepare for this event all year in anticipation of the pirate invasion along Bayshore Blvd in downtown Tampa. It’s the perfect excuse for adults to dress up and have tons of fun. Gasparilla is sponsored by Seminole Hardrock and features several local vendors and musical performances throughout the event, so be sure to check it out!
